The Padel Foundations Program is a 4-week coaching course designed to take beginners and low-intermediate players from the basics to confident match play. Across one session per week, you’ll build strong fundamentals in technique, positioning, shot selection, and court awareness — all in a supportive, structured learning environment. This program is ideal if you want to improve faster, feel more comfortable in games, and develop the skills needed to step into social sessions, leagues, and competitive match play with confidence.

Our 4 week padel coaching programme is designed to help beginner and intermediate players build real confidence on court.

Players will learn:

Better footwork
Move and recover more efficiently

Earlier preparation
Get set sooner and feel less rushed

More control
Make cleaner contact and keep more balls in play

Across the programme we cover:

Rally basics
Serve and return
Volleys and net play
The lob and transition
Back glass defence
Doubles positioning
Tactical decision making
Controlled overheads and match play

A clear and practical coaching programme for players who want to improve and enjoy their padel more.

Padel Foundations Program (Beginner → Intermediate):
Wednesdays, 5:30–7:30pm
Format: 4-week course (one-hour lesson each week)
Time Slots: Two x 1-hour classes per night to choose from - 5.30-6.30 and 6.30-7.30
Cost: $70 per person for four weeks of lessons
Max Player to coach ratio: 4:1

Expect structured coaching sessions focused on technique and real-game application. Each week will build on the last, covering key padel skills like serving, volleying, positioning, wall play, and tactical decision-making. The program is designed to give you a clear pathway to improvement, with lots of repetition, coach feedback, and guided match play so you can apply what you learn immediately.

The Padel Foundations Program is ideal for:

Peter Mohring

Peter works primarily with beginner and developing players, helping them build strong fundamentals and confidence on court. He holds a HelloPadel Bronze coaching certification and has delivered beginner foundation programs in the UK. Peter enjoys introducing new players to the sport and helping them develop consistency, positioning, and match awareness.
Peter is available for bookings every day of the week except Thursdays

Tavo Farias

Originally from Curicó, Chile, Tavo brings great energy and passion to the court. He focuses on helping beginner and low-intermediate players improve their technique, patience, and tactical understanding of the game. Tavo loves building players’ confidence and helping them enjoy the strategic side of padel.
Tavo is available for bookings on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Russell Biggs

Russell coaches intermediate players, helping them refine their shot selection, positioning, and tactical awareness. Originally from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, he brings a thoughtful approach to the game and enjoys helping players unlock key insights that elevate their match play and overall understanding of padel.
Russell is available for bookings every Saturday & Sunday.

Greg Nicol

Greg works with intermediate and advanced players, focusing on tactical discipline, net control, and high-level match play. One of New Zealand’s top padel players, he has achieved strong results in recent Men’s A tournaments around the country and brings valuable competitive experience to his coaching.
Greg has a flexible schedule and is available for bookings every day of the week.
